SOLD OUT!!! Beautiful Light: An On-Camera Flash Workshop for Event Photographers

This class is for you if you want to get comfortable with using on-camera flash to create beautiful images in any situation. Whether you're brand new to using flash or you've been using it for a while with inconsistent results, this class will take you to the next level. More importantly, it will give you the confidence boost you need to use flash whenever the situation arises, without freaking out on the inside (trust me, I've been there!!).

Here's what we will cover:

- How to get beautiful, even light in dark event spaces
- How to utilize ambient light as a compliment to your flash
- How to focus in low light
- Bouncing techniques
- Store bought and DIY flash modifiers
- Camera settings for different flash scenarios

The first two hours of the workshop will be instructional. We'll talk about how flash works, how cameras read light, some science-y physics type light bending stuff (lol), and go over a wide variety of different camera/flash settings that will serve you well in any lighting situation. I'll also share some tips/tricks for nailing focus in dark spaces. We'll also talk about different ways to bounce/modify light to give you more control over your output which will allow you to produce consistent, professional results in any situation.
